This physician role focuses on synchronous telehealth care for men’s health, with an emphasis on evaluating, diagnosing, and managing testosterone deficiency and testosterone replacement therapy. Visits are primarily video-based, with some asynchronous chat-based follow-up and medication management as needed. The position also includes related men’s health concerns, platform-guided documentation, and coordination within a telemedicine workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous video visits for initial evaluations and follow-up care.
- Provide asynchronous care and chat-based follow-up when appropriate.
- Assess, screen, diagnose, prescribe, and titrate medications for men’s health conditions.
- Evaluate and manage patients receiving testosterone replacement therapy.
- Adhere to platform guidelines, policies, and required training.
- Deliver prompt, empathetic, and high-quality patient care through the telehealth platform.
- Use EMR systems and online tools to document care and communicate with patients.
Required
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urology, or Endocrinology.
- Unrestricted DEA license and prior prescribing of Schedule III controlled substances in KS, MA, ME, MO, or WV.
- At least 1 year of applicable clinical practice experience, excluding orientation and training.
- At least 1 year of telehealth experience.
- At least 1 year of experience treating testosterone deficiency with testosterone replacement therapy.
- Active medical licensure in more than 5 states.
- Active license in good standing with no current or pending malpractice lawsuits.
Preferred
- Synchronous telehealth experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong diagnostic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using online tools and technology to deliver care.
- Interest in or readiness for supervising physician responsibilities, depending on licensure and experience.
