Provide telepsychiatry care for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health needs, including psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, medication management, and therapy. The role also includes documentation, referral to psychiatry services when needed, and collaboration to support patient experience and outcomes. Structured administrative support, a flexible schedule, and a technology-enabled practice model are part of the workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments of patients’ current mental status.
- Provide medication management and therapy for adult and child/adolescent populations.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and prompt patient documentation.
- Refer patients for psychiatry services when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the executive team to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
- Use a patient management system and administrative support resources to support care delivery.
Required
- Licensed and certified in Oregon.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
- Experience providing both medication management and therapy.
Preferred
- Experience working in telepsychiatry or remote care settings.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, flexible group practice model.
