Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy for members seeking weight management support, with a strong focus on evidence-based counseling, GLP-1-related care, and perimenopause-related nutrition support. Conduct video visits, review intake information and medical history, and build ongoing follow-up relationships that help members address barriers and adapt care plans over time. Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary virtual model that uses digital tools, standardized protocols, and motivational interviewing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide member-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy via telehealth.
- Review intake information and medical history during video visits.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to support progress and adjust care plans.
- Use motivational interviewing and counseling techniques to support behavior change and habit building.
- Apply Weight Watchers nutrition guidance, protocols, and evidence-based practices.
- Communicate with the care team in Slack and participate in monthly meetings.
- Complete visit documentation and submit accurate billing and charting notes.
Required
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Active state licensure in dietetics/nutrition in at least one state.
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week.
- Ability to work with the required computer setup, including 16GB memory, Mac or Windows operating system, Mac OS 26.0 or higher or Windows 11, and no Chrome OS.
Preferred
- Multiple state dietetics/nutrition licenses.
- Experience with GLP-1 medications or menopause/perimenopause nutrition care.
- Prior telehealth or virtual counseling experience.
- Familiarity with Weight Watchers programs and philosophy.
