Provide remote musculoskeletal care for patients with sports medicine and other MSK concerns through video visits and asynchronous communication. Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions using a technology-enabled virtual exam workflow. Collaborate with clinical leaders, follow evidence-based guidelines, and help shape a hybrid care model focused on patient experience and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous and asynchronous virtual musculoskeletal exams and consultations.
- Review patient intake information and self-guided exam data before visits.
- Assess symptoms, formulate care plans, and manage musculoskeletal conditions.
- Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide specialist referrals as appropriate.
- Document patient encounters completely and accurately.
- Educate patients using teach-back and written, pictorial, audio, and visual materials.
- Participate in musculoskeletal education, quality assurance, and clinical improvement activities.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and HIPAA standards.
Required
- At least 3 years of experience as a non-operative or primary care sports medicine physician.
- Active medical licensure in good standing in at least one listed state.
- Ability to maintain multi-state licensure.
- Ability to commit to 3 days per week.
- Working knowledge of federal and state telemedicine regulations.
Preferred
- Experience with telemedicine.
- Active licensure in multiple states.
- Letter of Qualification for the IMLCC.
