Provide virtual, evidence-based obesity care for patients with obesity and related conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, anxiety, and depression. The role supports whole-person treatment plans that focus on weight management, stress reduction, and overall health improvement. Care is delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team using a technology-enabled, personalized model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual clinical visits for patients seeking obesity treatment and related chronic disease support.
- Provide evidence-based medical management for obesity and comorbid conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
- Coordinate care with registered dietitians, coaches, and licensed therapists in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Use technology-enabled workflows to support personalized treatment plans and ongoing patient engagement.
- Participate in whole-person care planning that addresses weight, stress, and overall health.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Current physician licensure appropriate for practice.
- Obesity medicine experience or training.
Preferred
- Board certification in Obesity Medicine.
- Experience providing virtual care.
- Experience managing patients with metabolic or behavioral health comorbidities.
