This role is an outpatient internal medicine position for an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant caring for adult and geriatric primary care patients. The clinician splits time between seeing their own primary care panel and managing In Basket coverage for colleagues, with some work from home flexibility. The practice is physician-owned and emphasizes collaboration, work-life balance, and shared phone call among Oregon clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Manage a personal primary care panel in a hybrid workflow.
- Coordinate In Basket coverage for colleagues and respond to clinical messages.
- Participate in shared phone call with Oregon clinicians.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and advanced practice clinicians in a multispecialty internal medicine team.
- Use a flexible schedule that alternates clinic time with remote administrative work.
Required
- Current licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- At least 2 years of primary care clinical experience.
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
- Ability to reside in Oregon or Washington.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
Preferred
- Experience with In Basket management and clinical message handling.
- Strong interest in internal medicine and primary care.
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
