Provide psychiatric consultation and clinical leadership for perinatal providers through a statewide access program focused on women’s mental health, perinatal psychiatry, and substance use disorders. This part-time role combines remote or in-person work with opportunities to support integrated care, education, and program development. Additional academic, teaching, research, publication, and presentation work may be available for interested candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation to perinatal care providers addressing perinatal mental health and substance use disorders.
- Lead medical direction for a statewide maternal mental health access program.
- Collaborate with perinatal psychiatry access programs nationwide.
- Support integrated care initiatives and program development.
- Participate in teaching, research, publications, or presentations as interested.
- Provide additional clinical services if desired.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Experience or strong interest in women’s mental health and perinatal psychiatry.
- Leadership experience or leadership potential.
- Interest in integrated care, education, and program development.
- Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure.
Preferred
- Prior experience in women’s mental health.
- Prior experience in perinatal psychiatry.
- Prior experience in leadership or program development.
- Interest in academic work, teaching, research, or publications.
