Provide remote psychiatric assessments and follow-up care for clients seeking medication management, with brief psychotherapy integrated when appropriate. This role centers on collaborative, measurement-based mental health treatment and includes coordination with physicians, therapists, and clinical leadership. The position is part-time and supports a tech-enabled care model with structured documentation, consultation, and crisis backup resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote 60-minute psychiatric assessments and 30-minute follow-up visits.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical leadership on support, escalation, and care planning.
- Use measurement-based care and data-informed tools to tailor treatment plans and monitor outcomes.
- Participate in integrated care plans, shared treatment insights, and team consultation spaces.
- Contribute to workflow refinement and care protocol development during onboarding and ongoing practice.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active New York licensure as a PMHNP.
- Active DEA license in New York.
- At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP.
- Experience delivering remote telepsychiatry services.
- Ability to start in September 2026.
