Provide remote psychiatry care for adults, including initial psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits focused on medication management and symptom monitoring. Brief psychotherapy is incorporated when appropriate, with care guided by measurement-based tools and collaborative treatment planning. The role also includes coordination with therapists, physicians, and clinical leadership in a highly supported, telepsychiatry-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute psychiatric assessments and 30-minute follow-up visits remotely.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate.
- Use measurement-based care and data-informed tools to tailor treatment plans and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, therapists, and other providers on support, escalation, and integrated care plans.
- Participate in team consultation spaces and shared treatment planning.
- Contribute to workflow refinement, care protocols, and ongoing program improvement.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active Florida PMHNP license.
- Active DEA license in Florida.
- At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP.
- Reside in Florida.
- Experience delivering remote telepsychiatry services.
