Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for older adults, with a focus on common geriatric mental health conditions and medication management within scope. The role emphasizes relationship-centered visits, documentation in a structured platform, and collaborative care coordination with primary care and other team members. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape protocols, intake workflows, outcome measures, and the overall patient experience for a remote senior psychiatry program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live video psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits for older adults.
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions common in seniors, including medication management within scope.
- Provide relationship-centered care that supports therapeutic alliance and measurable outcomes.
- Complete clinical documentation using the platform’s intake templates and code scaffolding.
- Coordinate with lifestyle/longevity NPs, nutrition, therapy, and primary care providers.
- Surface medication, adherence, or other clinical concerns to primary care providers as needed.
- Participate in building clinical protocols, intake processes, outcome measures, and the patient journey.
Required
- Board-certified PMHNP-BC or psychiatrist (MD/DO) in good standing.
- Active, unencumbered Florida license or willingness to obtain Florida licensure.
- Active DEA registration, including Florida DEA authorization for prescribing to Florida patients.
- For PMHNPs, a collaborating physician in place or willingness to establish one.
- Experience caring for older adults.
- Comfort practicing via live video telehealth.
Preferred
- Multi-state licensure.
- Prior experience working with Medicare, commercial, or dual-eligible patients.
- Interest in helping design or improve telehealth psychiatric care workflows.
