In this remote virtual care role, the RN responds to patient messages and phone calls, triages clinical concerns, and helps patients navigate next steps in their care. The work centers on women’s health in a technology-enabled setting, with support for primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness as needed. The clinician also handles provider inbox tasks, medication refills, and communication of lab and imaging results.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient messages and phone calls with clear, timely, and empathetic communication
- Triage patient needs and escalate urgent or complex concerns using clinical protocols
- Support provider inboxes, clinical tasks, medication refills, and care follow-up
- Communicate lab and imaging results using established workflows
- Coordinate with providers, RNs, and care team members to support patient care
- Guide patients to the appropriate team member and explain next steps in care
- Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Active Registered Nurse license in California, or ability to obtain California licensure before the start date
- At least 1 year of healthcare, clinical, or patient-facing experience
- Experience using EMR systems, clinical messaging tools, and Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple patient messages and tasks in a fast-paced virtual care environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, secure workspace
Preferred
- RN licensure in New York and/or Arizona
- Telehealth, primary care, women’s health, or ambulatory care experience
- Experience with medication refills, lab results, imaging follow-up, or clinical triage
