Provide part-time, onsite primary care for women in a clinic setting, with a focus on preventive care, acute visits, chronic disease management, and common women’s health concerns. The role also includes routine gynecologic issues, basic dermatology, and counseling around contraception and sexually transmitted infections. Clinicians work in an interdisciplinary, tech-enabled model with protected time for documentation and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for women, including preventive, acute, and chronic care visits.
- Manage common women’s health concerns such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, birth control counseling, UTIs, vaginal infections, and STI screening.
- Conduct basic dermatology care and chronic condition management, including hypertension and diabetes.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff.
- Support case consultation, clinical teaching, and guidance for advanced practice providers.
- Contribute feedback on care workflows, tools, and technology.
- Use evidence-based, shared decision-making and patient-centered care approaches.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted California medical license.
- Experience with outpatient primary care.
- Experience providing routine gynecologic and women’s health care in a primary care setting.
- Willing and eligible to complete credentialing and payer enrollment.
Preferred
- 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience.
- Experience working in a collaborative interdisciplinary care team.
- Comfort with evidence-based, inclusive, and affirming care models.
