Provide comprehensive primary care for women in an outpatient clinic setting, with a focus on preventive care, acute visits, chronic disease management, and common gynecologic and women’s health concerns. The role also includes basic dermatology, counseling, collaborative care, and teaching within an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide affirming primary care for women during in-person outpatient visits.
- Manage preventive care, acute concerns, and chronic disease follow-up.
- Address common women’s health issues, including STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
- Deliver basic dermatology and other holistic primary care services.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, and support staff in an interdisciplinary model.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners.
- Support clinical teaching, coaching, and case discussion across the care team.
- Partner with technology teams by sharing clinical feedback to improve tools used in patient care.
Required
- Board certified physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted New York medical license.
- At least 3 years of outpatient primary care experience.
- Experience providing routine gynecology and women’s health care.
- Willing and eligible to be credentialed with academic partners.
- Able to serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners.

- Experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary primary care settings.
- Interest in teaching, coaching, and clinical partnership.
- Familiarity with technology-enabled care workflows.
