Provide flexible, per diem primary care and women’s health visits for adult patients in a clinic setting, including preventive care, contraception, STI care, pregnancy confirmation, and follow-up screening. Manage common acute and chronic issues such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory complaints, digestive symptoms, sleep concerns, anxiety, and depression, with some same-day women’s health visits and procedures. Work within a coordinated care model alongside physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and operations, with support for virtual care, inbox coverage, and AI-assisted documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct new patient visits, annual preventive exams, health screenings, and cervical cancer screening follow-up
- Provide contraception counseling, STI evaluation and treatment, and pregnancy confirmation visits
- Assess and manage same-day women’s health concerns, including vaginal, vulvar, urinary, pelvic, and reproductive symptoms
- Evaluate and treat common acute and chronic primary care conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory concerns, digestive symptoms, sleep concerns, anxiety, and depression
- Perform IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures within clinical training, licensure, credentialing, and scope
- Review results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations
- Support virtual care, inbox coverage, and other clinical priorities during non-patient time on an accepted shift
Required
- NP or PA with current national board certification
- Active, unrestricted New York NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration, where required for practice
- At least 3 years of independent outpatient primary care experience
- Experience providing routine women’s health, gynecologic, and reproductive care
- Experience performing IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures
Preferred
- Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies
- Experience with trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and gender-affirming care
- Experience with behavioral health integration
- Experience in weight management, menopause care, or advanced dermatology
- Experience working in interdisciplinary, high-growth, or non-traditional care models
