Provide flexible per diem primary care and women’s health visits for adult female patients in clinic, including preventive care, contraception, STI care, pregnancy confirmation, cervical cancer screening follow-up, and same-day acute concerns. The role also includes managing common chronic conditions, basic dermatologic procedures, selected in-office procedures within scope, and support for virtual care or inbox coverage as needed. Providers work across a coordinated, technology-enabled women’s health model with a multidisciplinary team and AI-supported documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive primary care and women’s health visits, including annual exams, screenings, and new patient appointments
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic outpatient conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory symptoms, digestive symptoms, sleep concerns, anxiety, and depression
- Assess same-day gynecologic, urinary, pelvic, vulvar, vaginal, and reproductive health concerns
- Perform IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures within scope, training, and credentialing
- Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations
- Use clinic protocols, documentation workflows, EHR tools, and AI-supported charting systems
- Support virtual care, inbox coverage, and other clinical priorities during non-patient time on accepted shifts
Required
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration where required for practice
- At least 3 years of independent outpatient primary care experience
- Experience providing routine women’s health services, including contraception and STI care
- Ability to provide at least one day of general availability per week and report onsite within the required timeframe for accepted same-day shifts
Preferred
- Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies
- Experience with trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and gender-affirming care
- Experience with behavioral health integration
- Experience in weight management, menopause care, or advanced dermatology
- Experience working in interdisciplinary, high-growth, or non-traditional care models
