Provide part-time outpatient primary care and women’s health visits for women across multiple clinic settings, including preventive care, acute concerns, chronic condition management, and routine gynecologic care. The role also includes procedures within scope, test result review, care planning, and follow-up coordination. Clinicians work within an integrated, technology-supported women’s health model and collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and problem-based primary care visits, including annual wellness exams, screenings, acute concerns, and chronic condition management.
- Provide routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms.
- Evaluate common outpatient concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, respiratory symptoms, abdominal pain, and basic dermatologic issues.
- Perform IUD insertions and other procedures within training, licensure, credentialing, and clinical scope.
- Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up.
- Adapt to different clinic teams while maintaining consistent clinical, documentation, and patient experience standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations staff.
- Provide occasional inbox or clinical team support when not scheduled for patient visits.
Required
- Active California NP or PA license.
- Current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA.
- Active DEA registration.
- At least 3 years of independent outpatient primary care experience.
- Experience providing primary care and routine gynecologic or reproductive healthcare.
- Experience performing IUD insertions.
Preferred
- Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies.
- Experience providing LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming care.
- Experience managing anxiety and depression in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Experience serving diverse patient populations.
