Provide virtual neurology care for adult patients with general neurologic conditions, including headache, migraine, neuropathy, and seizure disorders, through a fully remote telehealth model. The role includes follow-up and evaluation visits, diagnostic review, patient counseling, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support chronic and complex neurologic care. There is also opportunity to supervise advanced practice providers and help maintain continuity of care in an evidence-based specialty practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients with neurologic conditions.
- Provide care for common general neurology presentations, including headache, migraine, neuropathy, and seizure disorders.
- Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary team members on treatment planning and continuity of care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies as clinically appropriate.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
- Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in APP supervision.
- Maintain compliance with telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and practice standards.
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
- DEA license in good standing.
- Experience supervising APPs.
- Comfort with providing care in a telehealth environment.
Preferred
- Multiple state licenses.
- Familiarity with telemedicine technology.
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
