Provide longitudinal virtual endocrinology care for adults with general endocrine conditions, including complex diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, bone metabolism, lipid, and calcium disorders. This role centers on video visits, evidence-based outpatient management, and coordination with a multidisciplinary specialty team. The practice is fully remote and includes opportunities to supervise and mentor advanced practice providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive video visits for adult patients with general endocrinology needs.
- Manage complex diabetes and other endocrine disorders, including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, bone, lipid, and calcium conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers, as applicable.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
- Collaborate with specialists and care team members to support coordinated care.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completed fellowship training in Endocrinology.
- Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
- DEA license in good standing.
- Comfort with providing care in a telehealth environment.
Preferred
- Additional medical licenses or IMLC participation.
- Experience or interest in APP supervision or mentoring.
- Open to license expansion.
