In this remote primary care role, the physician oversees and supports nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants, reviews patient cases, and co-signs charts. The work centers on collaborative clinical decision-making, protocol adherence, and quality assurance for an ongoing assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants in clinical practice.
- Provide guidance on patient care decisions and collaborative case review.
- Review patient cases and co-sign charts as needed.
- Ensure adherence to medical protocols and state collaborative practice requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Completion of a Family Medicine residency.
- Active, unrestricted medical license.
- Board certification.
