Provide virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including initial psychiatric diagnosis interviews and follow-up evaluation and management visits. Work with a diverse behavioral health patient base and manage treatment plans through a telehealth platform. The role is part-time and contract-based, with flexible scheduling and collaboration with a psychiatry team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnosis interview examinations for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management follow-up visits for established patients.
- Use a video-based telehealth platform to complete patient sessions and documentation.
- Manage patient treatment plans within the platform.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients in the state(s) of licensure.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Vermont.
- Active DEA registration and individual NPI number.
- Fully completed and signed CAQH application.
- Independent liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work as a 1099 contractor.
Preferred
- Prior telehealth or virtual psychiatry experience.
- Experience working with a diverse behavioral health patient population.
