Provide virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including diagnostic interviews and follow-up medication management, through a telehealth platform. The role focuses on behavioral health and offers flexible scheduling, with care delivered from home using secure video visits and electronic documentation. You also coordinate with a psychiatry team as needed and may support a broad range of mental health needs in a diverse patient base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews for new patient referrals.
- Provide follow-up evaluation and management visits for established patients.
- Use the telehealth platform to complete video visits, documentation, and treatment planning.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients within your state(s) of licensure.
- Manage patient cases and clinical plans through the platform workflow.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Rhode Island.
- Active DEA registration and individual NPI number.
- Fully completed and signed CAQH application.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Independent liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate.
Preferred
- Prior experience providing telehealth or virtual psychiatric care.
- Experience working with a diverse behavioral health patient population.
