Provide telepsychiatry care for new and established patients, including psychiatric diagnostic interviews and follow-up evaluation and management visits. Care is delivered through video sessions on a digital platform, with documentation and treatment planning completed in the same workflow. This contract role supports a diverse patient base and includes collaboration with the psychiatry team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management follow-up visits for established patients.
- Use the telehealth platform to conduct video sessions with patients.
- Submit clinical documentation through the platform.
- Manage and update patient treatment plans.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients within the clinician’s state(s) of licensure.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Pennsylvania.
- Active DEA registration.
- Individual NPI number.
- Fully completed, signed CAQH application.
- Collaborating or supervising physician agreement, or willingness to obtain one.
- Independent liability insurance with $1 million occurrence / $3 million aggregate coverage.
Preferred
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual psychiatry care.
- Experience working with a diverse behavioral health patient population.
