Provide virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including initial diagnostic interviews and follow-up evaluation and management visits. The role centers on behavioral health treatment and medication management through a telehealth platform, with care delivered to patients in the clinician’s state of licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management follow-up visits for established patients.
- Use the telehealth platform to complete video visits, documentation, and treatment planning.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients within the state(s) of licensure.
- Manage clinical documentation and patient treatment plans in the platform.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in New York.
- Active DEA registration and individual NPI number.
- Fully completed, signed CAQH application.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Independent liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate.
Preferred
- Experience providing telehealth-based psychiatric care.
- Experience working with a diverse behavioral health patient population.
