Provide virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including initial diagnostic interviews and medication management follow-up visits. Work with a diverse behavioral health patient base and use an online platform to complete video sessions, documentation, and treatment planning. Collaborate with the psychiatry team as needed while practicing with the flexibility of a remote, contract schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management follow-up visits for established patients.
- Use the telehealth platform to deliver video visits with patients.
- Submit clinical documentation and manage treatment plans in the platform.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients within the clinician’s state(s) of licensure.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Mississippi.
- Active DEA registration.
- Individual NPI number.
- Completed and signed CAQH application.
- Collaborating or supervising physician agreement, or willingness to obtain one.
- Independent liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1M/$3M.
Preferred
- Prior experience with telehealth or virtual psychiatric care.
- Experience working independently in a contract-based practice model.
