Provide virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including initial diagnostic interviews and follow-up medication management visits. This part-time contract role focuses on behavioral health and uses a telehealth platform for video sessions, documentation, and treatment planning. You also coordinate with a psychiatry team as needed while practicing with a flexible, home-based schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interview examinations for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management visits for established patients.
- Use the telehealth platform to deliver video visits with patients.
- Submit clinical documentation through the platform.
- Manage patient treatment plans.
- Coordinate with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Minnesota.
- Active DEA registration and individual NPI number.
- Fully completed, signed CAQH application.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Independent liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate.
