This part-time contract psychiatric nurse practitioner role provides virtual psychiatric care for new and established patients, including diagnostic interviews and follow-up medication management visits. Care is delivered through a telehealth platform, with work focused on behavioral health and flexible scheduling from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic interview evaluations for new patient referrals.
- Provide evaluation and management visits for established patients.
- Use a telehealth platform to complete video visits, documentation, and treatment planning.
- Coordinate care with the psychiatry team as needed.
- Treat patients in the state of licensure.
- Manage clinical documentation within the platform.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Maine.
- Active DEA registration and individual NPI number.
- Completed and signed CAQH application.
- Independent liability insurance with at least $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate coverage.
- Reliable internet connection.
Preferred
- Experience providing telehealth-based psychiatric care.
- Experience managing outpatient psychiatric treatment plans.
