Provide fully remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, with a focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy within standard intake and follow-up visit lengths. Care is delivered in a clinician-led, integrated model with in-house referral support and minimal administrative burden.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations for adult patients in a telepsychiatry setting.
- Provide medication management, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and therapists through an integrated referral network.
- Use established session structures and maintain documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with operational teams for scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing support.
- Participate in clinical decision-making while maintaining patient-centered visit pacing and volume control.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation.
Preferred
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based behavioral health model.
- Experience in a clinician-led, outpatient psychiatry practice.
