Provide fully remote, outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy in a telepsychiatry model. Clinicians work with strong operational support and an integrated referral network, while maintaining control over schedule and patient mix within established clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient patients.
- Provide medication management, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Manage lower to moderate acuity behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.
- Use a fully remote telepsychiatry workflow to deliver care without inpatient, IOP, partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage.
- Coordinate with in-house psychiatrists, therapists, and referral resources as needed.
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Work within established clinical standards while maintaining autonomy over schedule and session structure.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote telepsychiatry model.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
Preferred
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based behavioral health setting.
- Familiarity with evidence-based outpatient psychiatric practice.
- Prior experience balancing session structure and patient populations in a telehealth environment.
