This role provides fully remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The clinician manages comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy within a telepsychiatry model. Care is supported by an integrated referral network, with scheduling, billing, intake coordination, licensing, and technology support handled centrally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans, and medication management for adults with common mental health conditions.
- Conduct 60-minute intake visits and 30-minute follow-up sessions in a fully remote setting.
- Deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy as part of longitudinal psychiatric care.
- Coordinate care with in-house psychiatrists and therapists through an integrated referral network.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain clinical decision-making within established standards while tailoring session structure and schedule to practice preferences.
- Participate in a team-based care model with operational support for scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.
- Proficiency using electronic medical records for clinical documentation.
