Provide 100% remote outpatient psychiatric care for adults with lower to moderate acuity conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and supportive therapy within a structured telepsychiatry model. You also collaborate with an in-house referral network and work with strong operational support to reduce administrative burden.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits via telepsychiatry.
- Provide treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Manage outpatient patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, and similar conditions.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and therapists through an integrated referral network.
- Use established session structures, including 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups.
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in a team-based clinical model with operational support for scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
Preferred
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based care model.
- Prior experience in a clinician-led virtual practice.
- Familiarity with evidence-based outpatient psychiatry workflows.
