Provide fully remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, including conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management, with standard intake and follow-up visit lengths. Clinicians work within an integrated, team-based model with in-house referral support from psychiatrists and therapists, while maintaining substantial control over schedule and patient mix.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient patients.
- Provide treatment planning and medication management for common psychiatric conditions.
- Offer psychoeducation and supportive therapy as part of routine care.
- Manage telepsychiatry visits in a fully remote outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and in-house referral partners as needed.
- Use electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate care within established clinical standards and session structures.
- Participate in a team-based practice model with operational support for scheduling and intake.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.
- Proficiency using electronic medical records.
