Provide fully remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, with a focus on conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy within a telepsychiatry model. It offers clinical autonomy with structured visit lengths, in-house referral support, and minimal administrative burden.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient patients.
- Provide treatment planning and medication management for common mental health conditions.
- Deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy as part of ongoing care.
- Use a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based workflow to manage patient visits.
- Coordinate care through an integrated referral network of psychiatrists and therapists.
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in collaborative, team-based clinical care.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote telepsychiatry model.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
Preferred
- Experience caring for patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, or PTSD.
- Experience working in collaborative, team-based outpatient psychiatry.
- Familiarity with standardized telehealth session structure.
