Provide 100% remote outpatient psychiatric care for adults with lower- to moderate-acuity needs such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy, with standard intake and follow-up visit lengths. Care is delivered in a telepsychiatry model with in-house referral support from psychiatrists and therapists, plus strong operational support to reduce administrative burden.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient telepsychiatry patients.
- Provide medication management, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Manage follow-up care for common behavioral health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.
- Coordinate care with in-house psychiatrists and therapists when additional support is needed.
- Use electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in a collaborative, team-based practice model with clinical autonomy.
- Coordinate with operational teams for scheduling, billing, intake, and licensing support.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations and medication management.
- Comfort working in a fully remote telepsychiatry setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records documentation.
Preferred
- Experience with lower- to moderate-acuity outpatient psychiatric populations.
- Experience providing psychoeducation and supportive therapy.
- Strong collaborative communication skills in a team-based care model.
