Provide fully remote outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity patients, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy in a telepsychiatry model. Clinicians work within an integrated, team-based practice with in-house referrals to psychiatrists and therapists and strong operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient patients.
- Provide treatment planning and medication management.
- Deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy.
- Manage care for common outpatient mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.
- Use a fully remote telepsychiatry workflow for scheduled intakes and follow-up visits.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists and therapists through an integrated referral network.
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in a team-based model with clinical autonomy within established standards.
Required
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care.
- Experience with comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote telepsychiatry model.
Preferred
- Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Prior proficiency with electronic medical records for efficient documentation.
- Experience in a clinician-led or value-oriented care model.
