Provides virtual cognitive neurology care for patients living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. The role centers on comprehensive telehealth evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing management of complex neurodegenerative conditions, with close coordination across a multidisciplinary team. It also includes clinical oversight of advanced practice providers and support for a tech-enabled, remote-first care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual neurologic evaluations for patients with cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders.
- Diagnose and manage Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, memory disorders, and related conditions.
- Coordinate care with APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators.
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for APPs across multiple states.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and telehealth regulations.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support personalized care plans and a seamless patient experience.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
- Clinical expertise in cognitive neurology or memory disorders.
- Ability to practice in a virtual care environment.
- Experience managing patients with neurodegenerative disease.
Preferred
- Experience supervising advanced practice providers.
- Experience working in telehealth or remote specialty care.
- Background in Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related cognitive disorders.
