The clinician provides comprehensive virtual evaluations and ongoing management for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. The role centers on diagnosing and treating complex neurodegenerative conditions, with emphasis on memory disorders and cognitive care. The clinician also works within a multidisciplinary virtual care model to support patients and families nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth evaluations for patients with cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders.
- Diagnose and manage Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related memory disorders.
- Coordinate care with APPs, behavioral health specialists, neurologists, geriatricians, and care coordinators.
- Develop personalized care plans that include education, support, and treatment planning.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and telehealth regulations.
- Support seamless patient experiences across a virtual care setting.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology or Geriatric Medicine.
- Direct experience caring for patients with cognitive disorders or memory disorders.
- Experience with amyloid-targeting therapies, if applying as a Geriatrician.
Preferred
- Experience working in a virtual care or telehealth environment.
- Interest in multidisciplinary, team-based care for neurodegenerative disease.
- Passion for expanding access to specialty neurological care.
