Physicians in this role provide clinical oversight and advisory support for a digital health organization, with opportunities to serve as a collaborating/supervising physician, fractional medical director, or compliance advisor. The work centers on hyperbaric medicine and related areas, with a focus on supporting coordinated, value-based care rather than direct patient visits. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that involves close collaboration with NP/PA care teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and collaboration for nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Conduct medical directorship responsibilities on a fractional basis, as needed.
- Advise on compliance matters and clinical standards within the care model.
- Support high-quality, coordinated care across a digital, value-based practice environment.
- Use clinical expertise to expand access to care without direct patient care responsibilities.
- Participate in team-based workflows with clinicians and operational support staff.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active California medical license in good standing.
- Experience in hyperbaric medicine.
- Comfort collaborating with NPs and PAs.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality clinical care.
- Must be based in California.
Preferred
- Background in HBO therapy, sports medicine, longevity medicine, or related specialties.
