Provide virtual patient care as a physician assistant across a mix of asynchronous and synchronous visits, with most work happening asynchronously. The role centers on urgent care, primary care, weight management, lab review, and remote patient monitoring for adults and pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care across programs such as urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring, and primary care.
- Conduct evaluations by video, phone, scheduled visits, on-demand encounters, and asynchronous communication.
- Provide patient-centered care for a diverse population of adults and children.
- Use evidence-based practices while maintaining a compassionate approach to care delivery.
- Coordinate care within a telehealth workflow that supports multiple clinical programs.
Required
- Active Physician Assistant license in at least 5 states.
- California licensure is required.
- Current licensure in the state of residence is required.
- Board certification through NCCPA.
- At least 2 years of in-person independent practice experience as a PA.
Preferred
- Experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP-1 agonists.
- Background in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Comfort with managing complex chronic conditions.
- Prior telemedicine or virtual care experience.
