Provide clinical oversight and guidance to a virtual nurse practitioner, helping support patient-centered care delivered through telemedicine. The work centers on reviewing medical records, case reviews, and quality improvement while ensuring care follows evidence-based protocols and applicable regulations. This is a collaborative, tech-enabled role that emphasizes mentorship, compliance, and use of telemedicine and remote monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and monthly 1:1 support to a virtual nurse practitioner.
- Review medical records as required by state regulations and company policies.
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines and telemedicine protocols.
- Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure clinical activities comply with state and federal telemedicine regulations.
- Use electronic medical records and remote patient monitoring tools in day-to-day workflows.
- Coordinate with the care team to maintain high standards of patient care.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Experience with telemedicine and remote patient monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a supervisory or collaborative role.
