Provide clinical oversight and guidance for a virtual nurse practitioner, helping ensure patient care is high quality, compliant, and aligned with evidence-based telemedicine protocols. The role centers on review of medical records, monthly one-on-one check-ins, and collaboration on case reviews, audits, and quality improvement. It is a physician leadership and mentorship role within a tech-enabled remote care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and support to a virtual nurse practitioner, including monthly one-on-one check-ins.
- Review medical records as required by state regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines and telemedicine protocols.
- Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure clinical activities comply with state and federal telemedicine regulations.
- Support ongoing clinical operations as business needs change.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oklahoma.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Experience with telemedicine and remote patient monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a supervisory or collaborative role.
