Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adult or general behavioral health patients through office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits. The role centers on evidence-based prescribing and personalized treatment planning, with support for building and growing a sustainable caseload. Clinicians work with clinical leadership, peer consultation, and practice-support tools while maintaining autonomy over treatment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and outpatient follow-up visits.
- Provide evidence-based medication management and personalized treatment plans.
- Use telehealth, office-based, or hybrid workflows based on practice preference and patient needs.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership, collaborating physicians, and peer consultants as needed.
- Document visits using AI-supported notes, treatment plans, and session summaries.
- Participate in weekly office hours and clinical consultation opportunities.
- Support patient matching and caseload growth through practice development tools.
Required
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in West Virginia and residing in the state.
- At least 2 years of outpatient prescribing experience as a PMHNP.
- Available for part-time or full-time contract work.
Preferred
- Experience building or growing an outpatient psychiatric caseload.
- Experience with telemedicine or hybrid psychiatric practice.
- Comfort using AI-enabled documentation and telehealth tools.
