This role focuses on outpatient psychiatric care for patients seen through office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment and personalized care. The clinician primarily manages mental health conditions and medication treatment, with support for building and maintaining an ideal caseload. The practice offers strong administrative and clinical support, including credentialing, billing, scheduling assistance, and regular consultation with a medical director.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care.
- Manage medication treatment and prescribing for psychiatric conditions.
- Conduct visits in office, via telemedicine, or in a hybrid format.
- Coordinate with practice support staff to build and maintain a suitable caseload.
- Participate in weekly office hours and peer consultation for clinical support.
- Use secure telehealth, scheduling, and patient communication tools.
- Maintain independent treatment decisions while working within the practice model.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia, Washington, D.C., or Maryland.
- Residence in the licensed state.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience.
- Part-time availability of at least 2 days per week.

- Experience working in a practice-growth or client-matching model.
- Comfort with telemedicine and hybrid psychiatric care.
