Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for patients through office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits, with an emphasis on personalized treatment planning and medication management. The role is designed for experienced PMHNPs who want to build and grow a steady caseload while maintaining clinical autonomy. Support includes credentialing, billing, practice development, and collaboration with clinical leadership and peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients in office-based, virtual, or hybrid settings.
- Provide medication management and individualized treatment planning under an evidence-based care model.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership, peer consultants, and practice support staff as needed.
- Use telehealth, scheduling, patient communication, and AI-supported documentation tools in daily practice.
- Build and manage a caseload with support from dedicated coaches and client matching.
- Maintain control of treatment decisions while following practice workflows for credentialing and billing.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Rhode Island.
- Must reside in Rhode Island.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience.
Preferred
- Experience working in outpatient psychiatry or private practice.
- Comfort with telemedicine and hybrid care delivery.
- Interest in practice growth and caseload development.
