Provide outpatient psychiatric care for patients through office-based visits, telemedicine, or a hybrid schedule, with a focus on evidence-based treatment and individualized care. This role is designed for experienced PMHNPs who want to build and manage an ongoing caseload while maintaining clinical autonomy. Practice support includes credentialing, billing, scheduling tools, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for outpatient patients.
- Provide evidence-based, personalized treatment planning under clinical leadership guidance.
- Use telehealth, office-based, or hybrid visit formats based on practice needs and schedule.
- Coordinate with credentialing, billing, and practice support teams to help grow and maintain the caseload.
- Participate in weekly office hours and peer consultation opportunities.
- Use AI-enabled tools for notes, treatment plans, session summaries, and patient communication.
- Maintain complete clinical autonomy over treatment decisions.
Required
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Montana.
- Must reside in Montana.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience.
Preferred
- Experience building a private or independent psychiatric caseload.
- Experience working in telemedicine or hybrid practice models.
- Comfort with AI-supported documentation and workflow tools.
