This role focuses on outpatient psychiatric care for patients seeking medication management and personalized treatment from an experienced PMHNP. Visit types may be office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid, with flexibility to build a schedule around your practice. The position is supported by clinical leadership, peer consultation, and technology tools that streamline documentation, treatment planning, and patient communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric visits and provide prescribing-based care.
- Provide personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for behavioral health needs.
- Use telemedicine, office-based, or hybrid workflows to manage patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership through weekly office hours and peer consultation.
- Document sessions using AI-supported notes, treatment plans, and session summaries.
- Coordinate with practice support teams for scheduling, credentialing, and billing workflows.
- Manage a caseload built through client matching and practice growth support.
Required
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Missouri and residing in the state.
- At least 2 years of outpatient prescribing experience as a PMHNP.
- Willingness to work in a contract (1099) role.
- Availability to commit at least 2 days per week.
Preferred
- Experience building or growing an outpatient psychiatric practice.
- Experience working with telemedicine or hybrid psychiatric care.
