Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults as a PMHNP, with a focus on evidence-based evaluation, prescribing, and personalized treatment planning. The role includes office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits and is designed for clinicians who want flexibility while building a sustained psychiatric caseload. You retain clinical autonomy and receive support for credentialing, billing, scheduling, and practice growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients in outpatient settings.
- Provide evidence-based, personalized treatment plans for behavioral health needs.
- Use telehealth, office-based, or hybrid workflows to deliver care based on your schedule.
- Coordinate with the medical director and peers through weekly office hours and consultation.
- Participate in practice development activities, including client matching and caseload growth.
- Document and manage patient care while maintaining clinical autonomy over treatment decisions.
- Support billing and credentialing workflows through the practice infrastructure.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in Mississippi.
- Must reside in Mississippi.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience.
- Part-time availability with a commitment of at least two days per week.
Preferred
- Experience building or growing a psychiatric caseload.
- Comfort with telemedicine and hybrid care delivery.
- Interest in ongoing professional development and peer consultation.
