This role focuses on outpatient psychiatric care for patients seen in office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits, with an emphasis on evidence-based, personalized treatment. The clinician manages psychiatric evaluations, prescribing, and ongoing medication follow-up while building a caseload and shaping a sustainable practice. Practice support includes credentialing, billing, scheduling tools, and clinical consultation, with strong autonomy over treatment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication-management visits for behavioral health patients.
- Provide evidence-based, individualized treatment planning and prescribing within your scope of practice.
- Coordinate care across office-based, telemedicine, and hybrid visit settings.
- Use AI-supported tools for notes, treatment plans, session summaries, and takeaways.
- Participate in weekly office hours and peer consultation with clinical leadership.
- Build and maintain a sustainable caseload with support from practice growth coaches and client matching.
- Manage care with clinical autonomy while collaborating with administrative teams on credentialing and billing.
Required
- Current Illinois licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Residence in Illinois.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical and prescribing experience.
- Experience providing psychiatric care as an advanced practice provider.
Preferred
- Experience with telemedicine or hybrid outpatient psychiatry.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled documentation or practice support tools.
- Interest in practice growth and long-term caseload development.
