Provide outpatient psychiatric care for patients through office-based visits, telemedicine, or a hybrid schedule, with a focus on evidence-based, personalized treatment. The role is designed for experienced PMHNPs who are building a sustained practice and want support with caseload growth, scheduling, credentialing, and billing. Clinicians maintain autonomy in treatment decisions while collaborating with clinical leadership and peer consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for outpatient patients.
- Provide care through office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits based on your schedule.
- Use evidence-based and personalized treatment approaches for psychiatric care.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership through weekly office hours and peer consultation opportunities.
- Use practice tools for AI-assisted notes, treatment plans, session summaries, scheduling, and patient communication.
- Manage a caseload supported by dedicated coaches and client matching resources.
- Maintain clinical autonomy while supporting credentialing, billing, and practice development workflows.
Required
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure in Alaska.
- Residence in Alaska.
- At least 2 years of PMHNP clinical and prescribing experience.
Preferred
- Experience building or growing an outpatient psychiatric practice.
- Experience with telemedicine or hybrid psychiatric care.
- Experience working with AI-enabled documentation or practice support tools.
