This role focuses on psychiatric care for patients seen in office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits, with complete clinical autonomy. The clinician manages outpatient mental health care while SonderMind handles referrals, credentialing, billing, scheduling support, and telehealth infrastructure. Weekly consultation with a Medical Director and peer support are available, making this a flexible practice model for psychiatrists who want to focus on care rather than administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing outpatient medication management.
- Provide care through in-person, telemedicine, or hybrid visits.
- Coordinate with the platform’s scheduling, billing, and credentialing workflows.
- Use secure telehealth tools and administrative support services for patient care delivery.
- Participate in weekly office hours with the Medical Director and peer consultation opportunities.
- Manage patient care independently while maintaining clinical autonomy.
Required
- Licensed Psychiatrist.
- Reside in West Virginia.
- Be available for a full-time or part-time 1099 contract position.
Preferred
- Experience with telemedicine or hybrid psychiatric practice.
