This role focuses on psychiatric medication management and outpatient clinical care for patients seen in office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid settings. The psychiatrist maintains full clinical autonomy while treating referred patients and can also participate in support services such as scheduling assistance and secure telehealth workflows. The practice model is designed to reduce administrative burden by handling billing, credentialing, and patient acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for referred patients in office-based, telemedicine, or hybrid visits.
- Conduct evaluation and ongoing treatment in outpatient psychiatric settings.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with a medical director and peer clinicians through weekly office hours and consultation opportunities.
- Use secure telehealth platforms and scheduling support to deliver care efficiently.
- Maintain clinical autonomy while working within a supported practice model.
Required
- Active psychiatrist license and residence in North Carolina.
- Willingness to work in a full-time or part-time 1099 contract role.
- Training and qualification as a psychiatrist.
Preferred
