This role centers on outpatient psychiatry, with care delivered through office-based visits, telemedicine, or a hybrid model. The psychiatrist evaluates and treats a broad range of behavioral health needs while maintaining full clinical autonomy in a supported practice setting. Patient referrals, scheduling support, billing, and credentialing are handled for you, allowing a focus on direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care for patients across in-person, telemedicine, or hybrid settings.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management as clinically indicated.
- Use a secure telehealth platform when delivering virtual care.
- Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and credentialing support teams.
- Participate in weekly office hours with the Medical Director and peer consultation opportunities.
- Maintain independent clinical decision-making while working within the practice’s referral and operational workflow.
Required
- Active psychiatrist licensure in Alaska.
- Residence in Alaska.
- Ability to work as a full-time or part-time 1099 contract clinician.
Preferred
- Experience providing telepsychiatry or hybrid psychiatric care.
- Interest in a flexible, supported private-practice model.
- Comfort working with Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients.
